It's Coming Along!

Finally! Am I Adjusted? Not quite... Comfortable?... Getting there! Happy to be in my own home with my husband? YES! I am taking it one day at a time and its slowly but surely coming together. Who's smiling? Me! Our house is looking more like a home! Exploring my new community has become a little more comfortable and enjoyable for me. Meeting my husbands unit and other spouses has helped alot! Without these other spouses, driving me around and showing me the ropes, I don't know where I would be! This is only the beginning... There are alot more furniture that needs to be purchased, decortating that needs to be done, and shipment of our HHG (HouseHold Goods) is still out at sea somewhere! The best part about this is, WE continue to smile and WE continue to make the best of this experience.

Word is out now that our unit will be relocating to a different base this summer. I'm PCS'ing again within months of being here. However, thats ok! We will continue to be in Germany.

My outlook on this journey and the constant moving is different! I am taking it all in one step at a time and going with the flow! Those that know me know that "going with the flow" IS HARD FOR ME! However, it's the EXPERIENCE I'm yearning for and learning to let go and just LIVE! You only live once and hubby and I are greatful to be in the position we are in, TOGETHER!

Speaking of my husband. He is such a hard worker! Before, I was the one working 3 jobs Monday-Saturday; now the roles are flipped and seeing how hard my husband works makes me feel like a lucky gal! He is my strength and inspires me to be the best wife I can be! If he's happy I'm happy; and vice versa!

So what have we been up to?

• Furnishing
• Decorating
• Getting aquainted with our community
• Minor exploring of restaurants in the area when time permits
• Studying for our driver license
• Growing as a married couple and as a family
• Planning a get-a-way during a four day weekend
• LIVING LIFE
